Fruit Picking
August:
Fruit picking season is fast approaching. We have been notified by the farmers that the season will start in early September. This is dependent on weather conditions.
We have just received employment application forms from the farmers. The sooner you arrive at Aussitel the sooner you can receive your forms and apply for fruit picking work.
There will be a limited number of fruit picking positions. Jobs will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. So, if you want to secure your fruit picking work starting in September please do not delay.
People with their own transport will be given priority.
Remember, we have work for accommodation positions available. This will help you save money while you wait for the fruit picking season to start.
Note: There will be more fruit picking positions as the season progresses.

- Your job will be to follow our established social program, join in and encourage the rest of the guests to come and play too!
- You get to take a group surf rafting and sea kayaking!
- How about learning to surf, Whitewater rafting, 4WDriving, canoeing, snorkeling???
- Then in the evenings you organise a big BBQ and take everyone off to the pub for the night, or how about out to the nightclub, or ten pin bowling????
- Just serious fun, fun ,fun!!!
It's a lifestyle job and great fun.
You will need to have:
- a current driving license
- be available for at least 6 weeks

hostel. Would you like to work in one of the best hostels in Australia?
We need a bright, bubbly, well organised person
to help us look after our guests. You do basic office tasks of check-in/check-out, take telephone calls, book activities, book other hostels, clean
when required, and any other jobs that may need to be done to make the
hostel run smoothly.
It's great fun and well rewarded.
You will need to have:
- a current driving license
- work visa
- be available for at least 3 months
